Jeffrey Udell Offers Insight on Ethical Considerations for Attorneys Serving as “Pool Counsel”

WMH partner Jeff Udell, in a recent NYLJ article, explored the ethics of serving as “pool counsel” and its impact on issues of conflicts of interest and preserving client confidences. Udell and co-author Gabrielle Friedman both serve on the NY City Bar Association’s Professional Ethics Committee and were the primary drafters of the Committee’s recent opinion concerning representing multiple individuals in the context of a governmental or internal investigation.
