Teddy is a litigator whose practice focuses on white-collar criminal and securities litigation, representing corporations and individuals in criminal, civil, and regulatory matters. He has represented corporate officers in securities class actions, enforcement actions brought by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and the U.S. Commodities Futures Trading Commission, and both state and federal criminal investigations. Teddy’s notable pro bono experience centers on petitions for writs of habeas corpus for Afghan detainees being held at the U.S. Naval Station in Guantánamo Bay, Cuba, and representation of other indigent individuals charged in federal criminal matters.
Prior to joining Walden Macht & Haran, Teddy practiced in the white-collar and securities litigation practice group at a preeminent global law firm in New York. Most recently, he served as a law clerk to the Hon. William J. Martini in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey. Teddy graduated cum laude from Boston College Law School where he served as the Executive Note Editor on the Journal of Law & Social Justice and won the school’s mock trial competition. He also spent a semester in The Hague, Netherlands assisting a trial team in the prosecution of a military general for genocide. The trial was held at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia. Before pursuing his legal career, Teddy worked as a professional actor with multiple film and television credits, including Veronica Mars, Grey’s Anatomy, and Jumper.
